Recruitment for Drone Power Hakaton Plus, a platform for cooperation between young innovators and experienced experts, professionals and business, has started. The event is organised on June 2 and 3, 2022 by Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center and Poznan International Fair with the support of Poznan University of Technology. The aim of the cyclical event is to solve real technological and business problems of Polish companies.
The slogan of the first edition of Drone Power Hakaton Plus is: “Talents and technologies for a secure infrastructure” and the leading technologies will be: data mining, artificial intelligence, robotics, automation and unmanned aerial vehicles. Our Partners defining the challenges for the teams are: the energy company Enea Group and the City of Poznan.
Drone Power Hakaton Plus has three stages: the initial concept stage, the hackathon stage and the field presentation stage at the airport in Kakolewo. The best teams have a chance to win a cash prize, an invitation to a paid internship or participation in R&D projects, pilot or implementation. On 14 March 2024, a new map of test and accelerator areas under the NATO's Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) programme was announced. The PSNC AerospaceLab in Kąkolewo is one of dozens of locations already selected in the North Atlantic Alliance for test centres (DIANA Test Centres). A new Polish contribution to the programme is the AGH University of Krakow, which together with the Krakow Technology Park will jointly run a branch of the NATO Defence Innovation Accelerator (Krakow DIANA Accelerator).
