The 16th “Gastro Aktualności 2022” Conference is a nationwide, two-day (8-9.04.2022) scientific and educational meeting, organized in the form of lectures and discussions, in the formula of a hybrid meeting. The event will also be broadcast online in cooperation with PSNC and the medVC platform.
The topics of the Conference will focus on diseases of the digestive system organs – pancreas, liver and intestines. The participants will talk about endoscopy and gastrointestinal radiology, as well as the increasingly common cancers of the lower gastrointestinal tract.
Technological support for the event, including “live” broadcasta, is provided by PSNC in collaboration with medVC.
medVC is a remote collaboration tool for physiacians that enables real-time audio-video communication and the use of specialised medical services. It is designed for installation in operating rooms, conference rooms and doctors’ offices. It enables the transmission of multiple High Definition (HD) video streams from cameras, microscopes, endoscopes and other medical devices. Physicians can pause the image, draw on the image, take pictures, work together on DICOM images, record the session, and even broadcast it live over the Internet. In addition, medVC can transmit stereoscopic (3D) video images from surgical robots or 3D endoscopes. All these features make medVC an excellent telemedicine tool for remote collaboration and education in medicine.

On 14 March 2024, a new map of test and accelerator areas under the NATO's Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) programme was announced.
