Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center has been granted membership in the European Platform for Sport Innovation (EPSI). Headquartered in Brussels, EPSI is a membership-based, non-profit organization focusing its activities on innovation in the field of sport, as well as physical activity and healthy lifestyle.
EPSI members are organizations, companies and research institutions that contribute to innovation in the sport ecosystem. In addition to PSNC, Poland is represented by two other entities: VERDE Sports Innovation Cluster and the organizer of the largest charity swimming event in Poland – Swim for Dream.
Membership in EPSI allows us to establish valuable partnerships at the international level in the area of innovative technological solutions in sports. This is very important in the context of the continuation of previously conducted activities in this area at the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center. It is also another step, after the establishment of cooperation with KKS Lech Poznań, aimed at increasing our potential in this field of interest.

The Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Centre has joined the Polish Consortium for Research on Cultural Heritage ERIHS PL. The aim of the Consortium is to increase knowledge of the properties and methods of conservation of materials that make up historical objects. PSNC joined it by supporting the structures with its knowledge and experience in the field of digitisation and digitisation of collections of culture, art and national heritage.
