PSNC Seminar: Mikołaj Pawlak, MD, PhD – “Image recognition in clinical neurosciences”
On Monday, December 20, 2021, we invite you to the third open PSNC Seminar. The speaker will be Mikolaj Pawlak, MD, PhD, from the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, presenting the topic “Image recognition in clinical neurosciences”.

The event is organised as part of PSNC’s open seminar series entitled “Challenges for the IT infrastructure of science in the era of digital transformation”.

Mikołaj A. Pawlak, MD, PhD, is a graduate of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences. He completed doctoral studies at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences and postdoc in 2005-2009 at the Neuroradiology Division, Department of Radiology, University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA.

He is a specialist in neurology. His research interests mainly concernc: magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the central nervous system in vascular and demyelinating diseases, treatment and rehabilitation of cognitive disorders and speech deficits after stroke, modern methods of multiple sclerosis therapy and intracranial vascular imaging using transcranial Doppler ultrasound with colour imaging.

Mikołaj A. Pawlak is an assistant professor in the Clinic and at the Department of Neurology, Poznan University of Medical Sciences, and worked in the Section of Neuroradiology, Department of Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and at the Department of Neurology, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA as well as at the Erasmus Medical Center, Rotterdam, Germany. Mikołaj A. Pawlak is a member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and the European Academy of Neurology (EAN).
