The Urology Section Symposium, scheduled for Thursday, March 11, 2021, will be held entirely virtually. The broadcast, using the medVC platform, will be carried out from the TV studio located at the PSNC headquarters.
The aim of the meeting is to present the results of the latest research and achievements in the field of urology, discussed at the upcoming congress of the European Association of Urology (European Section of Oncological Urology – ESOU). The most important publications concerning the recent research in oncological urology will also be discussed.
During the four sessions, 16 speakers will deliver their speeches, including the President of the Polish Urological Association – Prof. Piotr Chłosta, Ph.D and the Chairman of the Oncological Urology Section of the Polish Urological Society – Prof. Jakub Dobruch, Ph.D.
PSNC will support the event technologically, being responsible for the direct transmission of the Symposium on the Internet using the medVC platform. As in the case of the previous events hosted by the Poznan Center. This time the speakers will be connected this time by a special web-conferencing system prepared by PSNC to ensure better video quality of the broadcast. Importantly, participants will be able to use the chat room to ask questions to the speakers during the meeting.

On 14 March 2024, a new map of test and accelerator areas under the NATO's Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) programme was announced. The PSNC AerospaceLab in Kąkolewo is one of dozens of locations already selected in the North Atlantic Alliance for test centres (DIANA Test Centres). A new Polish contribution to the programme is the AGH University of Krakow, which together with the Krakow Technology Park will jointly run a branch of the NATO Defence Innovation Accelerator (Krakow DIANA Accelerator).
