Workshops organized by the PSNC Innovative Education Laboratory at the “Better Education” Conference

“Let’s give students and teachers a chance for effective cooperation!” – that’s the slogan of this year’s “Better Education” conference. The best specialists in the field of education will meet on-line on 5 and 6 March 2021. Among the speakers and workshop leaders there are also representatives of the PSNC Innovative Education Laboratory.

The conference is organized in cooperation with the City Hall and Municipality of Wrzesnia together with the John Paul II Local Government Primary School No. 6 in Wrzesnia. This event focuses on the popularization and practical use of information and communication technologies in educational processes. Important topics discussed during the workshop will also include the implementation of programming skills among students of elementary school and the development of programming skills of students at different stages of education.

As every year, the popularity of the workshop is huge, which is the practical part of the conference, was enormous (600 participants registered). The agenda offers many activities prepared by experts from the PSNC Innovative Education Laboratory:

  • Zbigniew Karwasiński: Unleash the creativity of students with BBC Micro:bit – a pocket computer changing the way digital skills are developed,
  • Małgorzata Ciżnicka and Martyna Dominiak-Świgoń: Speakers ready to go! Oxford style of debating at school and the Museum and library during your lesson, i.e. digital archives in education,
  • Zbigniew Karwasiński and Adrianna Szofer: Project and teamwork powered by Kanban board as well as Taiga and EduMeet app.
