Report on PSNC activities in 2021

We invite you to read the report on the activities of the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center in 2021. Digital science, industry and society are the areas in which we present our research and development as well as implementation achievements.

In the introduction to this year’s Report, we present achievements in six strategic areas of our activity – each of them is presented by the leader of the respective area.

In the next section, we present work related to the digital transformation of science, industry and society.

This year, we asked other experts close to us for an introductory word about the challenges in each of these areas:

  • an important trend in the development of science is introduced by Prof. Teofil Jesionowski, Rector of the Poznan University of Technology,
  • the future of the industry from the perspective of the exhibition industry is outlined by Tomasz Kobierski, President of the Management Board of the MTP Group,
  • a modern approach to education as a challenge in the social area is presented by Prof. Stanisław Dylak from the Faculty of Educational Studies, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.

The chapter on implementations is opened by Wojtek Stramski, advisor to Kulczyk Investments, who shares his observations on the latest trends in the investment industry. In addition to the areas of activity related to the development of ICT technologies and their applications, the report also contains information on our IT infrastructure, the latest projects, as well as plenty of data characterizing our activity in 2021.

The Report 2021 is a summary that makes us aware of the important role we play on the stage of the intensive digital transformation necessary to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The Report 2021 is available under the links below (1-page and 2 page) only in Polish language version.
