Streaming of “The Meeting Point” show on Ars Electronica

On the second day of the Ars Elektronica festival, which is held online this year, PSNC presented the material in 8K resolution entitled “The Meeting Point”. It was prepared as a live streaming from the CBPIO building. We invite you to have a look at the photos from this event.

The show was an artistic, playful journey through the maze of immersion, interaction and audio-visual art, being a specific meeting place, referring to our past immersive projects. Damian Niemir from PSNC tells us some more about the project: “We are looking for the meeting point, getting lost in time and space, having places which used to be film sets of our productions to put it all together. Therefore, again, last week we went to shoot more video material on the roof of CBPIO building and to the PSNC server room, we were at the Old Market Square, in Okrąglak and at the Poznań Track. We start everything in front of the main entrance to CBPIO, and end with a reminiscence of last year’s live show from UHD cinema, making a loop with that broadcast. But now none of us will be physically in the Deep Space projection room.

Another demonstration in which PSNC was involved at Ars Electronica 2020, together with the Partners from the Immersify project – Spin Digital and Ars Electronica Futurelab, is “Lost in Resolution – 16K Video and 3D Audio Playback for Large-Screen Immersive Spaces”.
