30 years of Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center
On September 13 and 14, 2023, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center celebrated its thirtieth anniversary. Employees, collaborators, partners and invited guests had the opportunity not only to celebrate together, but also to meet and summarise the many years of activity of PSNC.

The anniversary celebrations began on Wednesday (September 13) with a solemn Holy Mass in the Archcathedral Basilica concelebrated by Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki, Metropolitan of Poznań. Then the invited guests took part in a special anniversary session at the Science Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznan, during which congratulations and good wishes were expressed to the PSNC Management. In the evening, a gala dinner was held at the National Museum in Poznan. The invited guests had the opportunity not only to admire the collections in the museum, but also the music of Kasia Szubert – a violin virtuso.

The first edition of the PSNC Days scientific conference was held on Thursday (September 14). During the event, the results of collaborations, both national and international, were presented as part of ongoing projects and initiatives at PSNC.

At the end of the celebrations, guests moved to the airport in Kąkolewo, to admire sky acrobatics, thanks to the Wanda Modlibowska Aeroclub of Poznań and the Żelazny Group, and listen to covers performed by the “Po Godzinach” Big Band.
