PSNC signed an agreement on the organization of the City Development Forum 2022
A letter of intent has been signed regarding the organisation of the sixth edition of the City Development Forum. The event is scheduled for 17 and 18 October 2022. One of the co-organisers, apart from the Poznan City Hall, is the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.

The City Development Forum is an international conference on urban issues, which is a permanent event in the calendar of important events in the capital of Wielkopolska Region. Every year, it attracts many specialists, but also ordinary city residents who want to actively participate in its development.

Representatives of the institutions organising the event have signed a letter of intent concerning the Forum:

  • Iwona Matuszczak-Szulc, Director of the City Development and Foreign Relations Department of the Poznan City Hall,
  • Martyna Dera, Business Development Director of MTP Group,
  • Andrzej Porawski, Executive Director of the Bureau of the Association of Polish Cities,
  • Tomasz Fijołek, Managing Director of the Office of the Union of Polish Metropolises,
  • Cezary Mazurek, PhD, Director of the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.

This year’s event will be held stationary, but there will also be an online broadcast available (registration is required).

In its initial phase, the cooperation will feature the dissemination and promotion of information about cybersecurity and the security of ICT systems among entrepreneurs in Wielkopolska (Greater Poland) Voivodeship.

    The Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center (PCSS) and Wielkopolska Agency for Enterprise Development (WARP) signed a letter of intent regarding cooperation in the area of cybersecurity. In its initial phase, the cooperation will feature the dissemination and promotion of information about cybersecurity and the security of ICT systems among entrepreneurs in Wielkopolska (Greater Poland) Voivodeship.

    Thanks to the Dariah.lab infrastructure, the first pilot projects for the preservation and dissemination of cultural heritage resources have been implemented in 2023. Dariah.lab is a research infrastructure for the humanities and arts, built as part of the DARIAH-PL project. It serves to acquire, store and integrate cultural data from the humanities and social sciences, and to process, visualise and share digital resources.
