On November 15, 2022, the Institute of Human Genetics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznan will host the second edition of the Hematology Day, organized within the framework of the European NEXT_LEVEL project. This year’s event will be devoted to CAR-T in the treatment of hematological cancers. PSNC will conduct a live broadcast from the conference.
The aim of this event is to popularize knowledge about CAR-T therapy – currently the most modern and technologically advanced form of cellular immunotherapy that can be used to treat cancers such as lymphomas and leukemias.
Among the invited speakers are two outstanding Polish hemato-oncologists: prof. dr hab. n. med. Lidia Gil from the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, and prof. dr hab. n. med. Grzegorz Basak from the University Clinical Center of the Medical University of Warsaw.
The conference is aimed at various audience groups including elementary and secondary school students, teachers, patients, students, scientists and medical specialsists.

On 14 March 2024, a new map of test and accelerator areas under the NATO's Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) programme was announced. The PSNC AerospaceLab in Kąkolewo is one of dozens of locations already selected in the North Atlantic Alliance for test centres (DIANA Test Centres). A new Polish contribution to the programme is the AGH University of Krakow, which together with the Krakow Technology Park will jointly run a branch of the NATO Defence Innovation Accelerator (Krakow DIANA Accelerator).
