For five days, from June 19th to 23rd 2023, the EGI Conference (Enabling Grids for E-Science) – an international meeting of scientists, IT experts as well as computing and service providers – will be held in Poznan, Poland. The aim of the event, co-organized by the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, will be to summarise the current activities within the EGI – Advanced Computing Services for Research.

We kindly invite you to a conference organised by the Department of the National Contact Point for EU Research Programmes and the National Centre for Research and Development. The event will take place on June 15, 2023 in the Warsaw Marriott Hotel. The main objective of the meeting is to summarise the NCP’s (KPK) information campaign – “Digital Horizon”.

For three days, from June 14 to 16, 2023, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center will host the 38th edition of an international conference on ICT systems security and privacy protection – IFIP SEC. The event is organised by PSNC, Poznan University of Technology and the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP).

“Digital Generations” is the theme of this year’s TNC Conference, hosted in the Albanian capital – Tirana on June, 5-9. The event is hosted by RASH, the Academic Network of ALBANIA and NREN. PSNC acts as the main technology partner of this event for the eighth time in its history.

On June 3, 2023, on the first day of the National Field Days organized in Sielinek, the European Testing and Experimentation Facilities for Agrifood Innovation – AgriFoodTEF, whose partners are the Łukasiewicz PIT Research Network, PSNC and the Wielkopolska Agricultural Advisory Center, was officially opened in the Innovation Zone. During the event, PSNC also presented the results of projects related to agriculture.

On June 3-5 2023, the ‘Science for Society’ Congress will be held at the Warsaw University of Technology and the World Hearing Center of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing. Cezary Mazurek Ph.D., Director of the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center will actively participate in the panel on “Artificial Intelligence in medicine”.

This coming weekend, from 3 to 5 June 2023, Sielinko will become the Polish capital of agriculture. All thanks to the 4th National Field Days organised by the Wielkopolska Agricultural Advisory Centre in Poznan, Poland. During the event, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center will present modern IT solutions for agriculture.

The Poznań Aeroclub, the Municipal Office in Grodzisk Wielkopolski, Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center and Aeroport company invite you to a special Children’s Day at the airport in Kąkolewo on Saturday, June, 3 2023. Many attractions will be waiting for the youngest aviation enthusiasts.

On June 6, 2023, Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center will host a workshop for teachers entitled: “Accessible school buildings, accessible education, accessible teacher – universal design or learning”. The event organised by the Board of Education is related to the results of the international SUCCESS project.

From May 29 to June 4 2023, the exhibition “700 Steps about Tomorrow”, prepared in cooperation with the Art & Science PSNC Future Labs, will be open at the ZAMEK Cultural Centre in Poznań. The interactive exhibition is presented during the Children’s Art Biennale organised in partnership with the Children’s Art Centre.

On the weekend of May, 27-28 2023, the QL Future hackathon organised in collaboration between PSNC Future Labs and IBM took place in Poznań. Hackathon participants had the opportunity to work with a quantum computer for the first time in Poland. Teams were tasked with proposing an innovative idea or technological solution within 24 hours in the areas of human, planet and climate.

This year’s PSNC exhibition stand, accompanying the ISC 2023 conference, is dedicated to the use of data infrastructure and HPC (High Performance Computing) to build IT services and support projects from the Polish Roadmap for Research Infrastructures, such as: National Data Storage (NDS), PRACE-LAB and PRACE-LAB2, financed from the structural funds of the Smart Growth Operational Programme under Measure 4.2 (building research infrastructure for science). The slogan of the booth is ‘PSNC – your partner in innovation’, intended to emphasise the important role that PSNC plays in European projects.
