Welcome to the Future Labs Forum: Libraries full of inspiration

Welcome to the Future Labs Forum: Libraries full of inspiration

On Thursday 7 March 2024 we invite you to PSNC Future Labs (20 Zwierzyniecka St. in Poznań) for the next meeting as part of the PSNC Future Forum. This time the organisers will focus on the topic of libraries; how they work and the opportunities they bring to local communities.

The next meeting will be dedicated to libraries. The organisers want to focus on how they work, the role they play and the opportunities they provide. They will also draw attention to the importance of the library as a local institution and why it is important to ensure that an active community gathers around it.

Participants will also be able to reflect together on whether workshop spaces, which allow for collaborative projects using new technologies, work well in library settings, what can be done to make it a hub for local initiatives and whether it is worthwile to have a variety of spaces for relaxation and inspiring fun.

There will be two 10-minute presentations by speakers; Maciej Biedermann will talk about library spaces that include young people, people with disabilities and meet the needs of neurodiverse people from an architect’s point of view, and Wojciech Ptak from the Raczynski Library will talk about książkomaty (book lockers).

The event will also showcase:

  • PSNC Future Labs spaces,
  • discussion in a networking session,
  • demonstrator zone.

We invite you to the PSNC Future Labs at 20 Zwierzyniecka Street in Poznań on Thursday 7 March at 15:00. The Forum is free of charge.
