On June 22, we will organize a workshop on quantum cryptography, during which scientists working within the National Laboratory for Photonics and Quantum Technologies and invited representatives of science and industry from abroad will present the physical foundations of the quantum key distribution (QKD), as well as the current state of development, perspectives and challenges facing this technology. The topics of the workshop will be directly related to the infrastructure built as a part of the Quantum Technology Laboratory, in particular optical links for secure data transmission.

“Our digital footprint. Society and Education”- is the main slogan of this year’s Conference of School Computer Network Administrators (KASSK). PSNC is the strategic partner of the Conference. The event will be held online on 28 and 29 May. PIONIER Research & Classroom services will be presented during the workshops conducted by trainers from the PSNC Innovative Education Laboratory.

Data Week is the spring gathering of the European Big Data and Data-Driven AI research and innovation community. This year, Data Week will be held online from 25th to the 27th of May. The event follows the tradition of the Big Data Value Summit, promoting opportunities, knowledge sharing and fostering Big Data and Data-Driven AI ecosystem development.

The Foundation for the Development of the City of Poznan invites all interested parties to participate in the second Poznan Debate. It will be held on March 18 in the hybrid formula and broadcasted from the TV studio located at the PSNC headquarters. As part of the Debate, the interdisciplinary discussion will be attended by representatives of various fields of science, economy, business, and social sciences. Cezary Mazurek, Ph.D. – Director of PSNC – will appear as an expert during this event.

The Urology Section Symposium, scheduled for Thursday, March 11, 2021, will be held entirely virtually. The broadcast, using the medVC platform, will be carried out from the TV studio located at the PSNC headquarters.

“Let’s give students and teachers a chance for effective cooperation!” – that’s the slogan of this year’s “Better Education” conference. The best specialists in the field of education will meet on-line on 5 and 6 March 2021. Among the speakers and workshop leaders there are also representatives of the PSNC Innovative Education Laboratory.

Tomorrow, on March 4 at 20.00, we invite you to the virtual “Robotics Cafe”. One of the guests at this meeting will be Krzysztof Kurowski, Ph.D. – Technical Director of PSNC. The subject of the event will be focused around the issues related to data processing.

XII edition of “Surgery 2021 – What’s New?” Conference will be held on February 25-27, 2021 fully online. The main conference studio will be located in the headquarters of PSNC.

On February 19, 2021, a meeting of the DARIAH-PL project took place, initiating activities of individual laboratories. The substantive assumptions for the planned software were presented, and the links between individual activities within the laboratories as well as the formats of collaboration between them were also discussed.

On February 23, 2021, another session of otolaryngological surgery will be organized in cooperation with the Department of Otolaryngology and Laryngological Oncology of the Medical University in Poznan, PSNC and medVC. Three surgeres are scheduled to be followed during the live broadcast.

On Saturday, February 6, 2021, a concert will take place to celebrate the 73rd birthday of Father Jan Góra – the originator and organizer of the National Youth Meeting “Lednica 2000” in the Lednica Fields. This year’s event will be held online, and the live broadcast will be conducted by PSNC.

We invite you to the launch of an interactive educational application based on Internet technologies entitled: “People of Wielkopolska Region in the Polish-Bolshevik War 1920”, created to commemorate the people of Wielkopolska Region who took part in the fight for independence. This event will take place in the form of a videoconference on January 26 at 12:00, via social media channels. The project was co-financed by the Multiannual Program “Niepodlegla” 2017-2022. PSNC is responsible for the technological implementation, digitization of materials and the multimedia of the project.
