Ivana Golub and Damian Niemir nominated for the GÉANT Community Award 2023

The GÉANT Community Award has been awarded since 2012 for an outstanding contribution to the joint activities of the community focused around national research and education networks and for the development of services and new technologies. Among this year’s nominees there are two representatives of PSNC – Ivana Golub (Data Engineering and Analytical Platforms Department) and Damian Niemir (Head of Cooperation and Contacts Department).

The award winners are selected once a year, and the award ceremony is held at the annual TNC conference – the most important European networking conference for science and higher education. This year, the event will be hosted in the capital of Albania – Tirana.

Ivana Golub has been a remote employee at PSNC’s Engineering and Analytical Platforms Department since 2017. She lives and works in Zagreb on a daily basis. Ivana is a leader of the Global Network Advancement Group (GNA-G) – a community of professionals of Global Research and Education Networking (GNA) from around the world.

Damian Niemir is the Head of Cooperation and Contacts Department at PSNC. He is an active and valued member of the Special Interest Group on Marketing and Communications at GÉANT. For many years, he has been actively involved in the organization of major events such as the TNC Conference and CLAW – the crisis management workshop for the GÉANT community.
