The first open call is aimed at technology providers and end-users who can benefit from collaboration and solutions developed using ICOS. Participation guarantees up to €200,000 in funding, and a 12-month support period. The deadline for applications is November 2, 2023.

Prof. Andrzej B. Legocki received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the Adam Mickiewicz University

Biochemist and former President of the Polish Academy of Sciences – Prof. Andrzej Bogusław Legocki received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. From 1988 to 2003, Professor Legocki was the Director of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. During his tenure, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center affiliated with the Institute was established in 1993.

Honorable mention for the “Internet Assistant for Neighbourhood Councillors”

The tool implemented by the Office of Digitisation and Cyber Security of the UMP in cooperation with the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center received an honorable mention in this year’s edition of the “Innovative Local Government” competition. The idea was initiated by the Department for Support of Municipal Auxiliary Units of Poznań City Hall. This modern solution was recognised as it helps estate councils to operate efficiently.
