Presentation of the GLAUKOMAi system at the Eye & Tech 2021 Conference

Eye & Tech conference is a platform for presenting the achievements of scientific thought in the field of research on glaucomatous neuropathy, age-related macular degeneration and myopia. Particular emphasis was placed on interdisciplinary cooperation between representatives of the world of ophthalmology and the world of cutting-edge technologies. PSNC was the co-organizer of the second edition of this event.

The symposium was organized on September 18, 2021 in the traditional formula at the Porsche Center Poznan. The event was divided into four sessions; The first two focused on glaucomatous neuropathy, while the other two were devoted to age-related macular degeneration and myopia.

During the session on glaucomatous neuropathy, the Director of PSNC – Cezary Mazurek PhD gave a presentation on the GLAUCOMAi system – an intelligent decision support system in the diagnosis and therapy of ocular hypertension and glaucomatous neuropathy, developed in cooperation with PSNC.

During the Conference, scientific works of medical students and young ophthalmologists related to the leading subject of the event, were presented in the form of electronic posters. Parallel to the scientific sessions, a presentation of the portfolio of the Symposium’s medical sponsors was also held: ProSight, Zeiss, Polpharma and Hoya, as well as the host of the event – Porsche Centrum Poznan.
