Survey for beekeepers under the DEMETER project

Survey for beekeepers under the DEMETER project

The team implementing the DEMETER project invites beekeepers to take part in a survey on optimizing pollination by bees. Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center is one of the 60 Partners from 18 countries involved in this project.

The study is carried out as part of a pilot project that aims to integrate decision support systems for farmers, farm management and apiary management to protect bees and optimize crop pollination. The project will create new tools to ensure electronic communication between beekeepers and farmers. The main goal of the survey is to examine interest in such solutions and to analyze what is the current situation of this kind of cooperation.

In February this year, workshops on pilot assumptions in the context of optimizing pollination in beekeeping and analyzing the needs of target user groups were held at the PSNC headquarters.
