Technical support for NORDUnet Conference 2022

For three days (September 13-15, 2022), the capital of Iceland – Reykjavik hosted the participants of the 31st NORDUnet Conference – organised by he national research and education networks in Scandinavia. Once again, Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center was the technological partner of the event, supporting all the plenary sessions.

NORDunet consists of five Nordic NRENs (National Research and Education Network): the Danish DeIC, Icelandic RHnet, Funet from Finland, Sweden’s SUNET and Uninett from Norway.

During this year’s event, the technical team from PSNC was responsible for delivering all sessions in the largest, plenary hall of the Harpa conference facility: displaying information on three projectors, offering sound and audio support during all plenary sessions.

On the first day of the conference, during the Lightning Talk session, the following representatives of the PSNC had their speeches: Szymon Trocha (‘Short Tips to Using a PMP Service’), Antoine Delvaux (‘perfSONAR 5.0’) and Bartłomiej Idzikowski (‘eduMEET – secure, private and affordable Video Conferencing for NRENs’).
