Working meeting of the EUHubs4Data project

Working meeting of the EUHubs4Data project

For three days, from February 7 to 9, 2023, Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center hosted a working meeting of the EUHubs4Data project. The project, creating a European federation of innovative big data centers (DIH), aims to support and develop European SMEs and start-ups in the global data economy.

EUHubs4Data is creating a European federation of innovative big data centers (DIH), which is a reference instrument for cross-border data-driven experimentation and innovation, and supports the development of European SMEs and start-ups in the global data economy. Based on the concept of “European directory, local offer,” EUHubs4Data establishes a pan-European, sustainable ecosystem, drawing on the local expertise and achievements of European and national/regional big data DIH initiatives, with a triple objective:

1. to create a European catalog of data sources and combined data-driven services and solutions;
2. to make this offer available at the regional level so that European SMEs, startups and online entrepreneurs have access to the continent’s most valuable assets and expertise;
3. to support cross-border and cross-sector data-driven experimentation facilitated by data exchange and interoperability of data and services.
