PSNC as a partner of the Poznan Economic Congress

For two days, on October 20 and 21, 2022, the Poznan Economic Congress was hosted at the Municipal Stadium in Poznan. This innovative event consists of multiple panels with experts to increase and exploit the potential of Wielkopolska Region for the development of Poland. The Congress also includes discussions, meetings and networking of a business, economic, political, social and local government partners.

The Poznan Economic Congress, whose main organiser is the Poznan Institute (pol. Instytut Poznański), was established to use the potential of Wielkopolska Region for the development of the entire country. It is a place for discussion, presentation of achievements and exchange of views, knowledge and experiences. According to the the organisers, the Congress is also an opportunity to reflect on what awaits us in a world conditioned by the effects of broken supply chains, uncertainty resulting from the consequences of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine or the COVID-19 pandemic but also climate change.

Panel discussions and debates will feature relevant and current topics such as:

  • challenges and opportunities facing Polish foreign policy in the current international situation,
  • global supply chains – Poland’s place on the global logistics market, competitive advantages of domestic transport companies,
  • rebuilding the economy after the crisis, i.e. what to do to make a return to the path of dynamic growth as effective as possible,
  • Industry 4.0 – how to build the Polish economy and its competitiveness based on innovative solutions and development of the R&D sector,
  • climate and ecology – how to take care of the planet, ensuring sustainable development of all areas of life, Poland’s most important problems and challenges, which society must overcome together,
  • the essence of corporate social responsibility (CSR).

At the Expo space accompanying the Congress, Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, together with the Altum Foundation, presented the latest projects, services and initiatives carried out in cooperation with institutions from Wielkopolska Region.
