We invite you to another PSNC Open Seminar, which will be held on Monday April 11, 2022 at 14:30. Our invited guests – Marek Natkaniec Ph.D.Eng.and Jacek Wszołek Ph.D.Eng. will present the topic of “Radio technologies and 5G/6G networks”. The meeting will be available on the Webex platform.

On March 30, 2022 EUH4D Data Forum will be organised in Leuven, Belgium and the topic for this year will be: “Building a trusted and fair data-driven federation. The meeting is organised within the EUHubs4Data project implemented under Horizon 2020, of which Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center is a Partner.

This is the 9th edition of the PSNC Open Seminars series. On the first day of spring, March 21, 2022 at 2:30 p.m., we cordially invite you to a lecture entitled: “Molecular modelling in the design of drugs acting on the central nervous system”, which will be delivered by Agnieszka A. Kaczor, Prof. UML (Medical University of Lublin). The moderator of the event will be dr Norbert Meyer, Director of Data Processing Technologies Division at PSNC.

We cordially invite you to the meetings organized within the 13th edition of the Brain Awareness Week, which will be held on March 14-18, 2022 in the Działynski Palace at the Old Market Square in Poznan, Poland. The event is co-organized by the Poznan Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry PAS and the Institute of Human Genetics PAS. As every year, direct broadcast of this event is provided by PSNC television team.

The next PSNC Seminar (8th edition) entitled: “Earth Science – Sea Monitoring and Atmospheric scientific communities – RELIANCE” will be held on March 7, 2022, as usually at 2:30 p.m. The lecture will be given by three speakers: Giorgio Castellan, dr Anne Claire Mireille Fouilloux and dr Elisa Trasatti.

EOSC Synergy, together with EOSC Pillar, EOSC Nordic, ExPaNDS , NI4OS, EOSC Future and FAIRsFAIR, invites you to the in-person workshop “National Policies relevant to EOSC deployment – Status, gaps, and steps towards harmonisation’, to be organised in Strasbourg, France on May 4th, 2022. During the workshop, we will present the findings of the regional EOSC projects on national open science, funding, and access provisioning policies.

We warmly invite you to the 7th edition of the PSNC seminars, which will take place on February 21, 2022 at 2:30 PM. The lecture entitled: “Distributed and Plastic Spiking Neural Network model of the brain cortex behavior (TEXTAROSSA)” will be given by dr Francesco Simula from Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare in Italy.

The debate on the Polish language will be held on Saturday, February 19 at 6:30 p.m. , organized by the Poznan City Hall and the Polish Language Council at the Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences as part of the International Mother Language Day. The event will be broadcast by WTK television and will be available via the online platform implemented by PSNC. Tomasz Parkoła, Manager of the Digital Libraries Department at PSNC will also take part in the discussion.

The sixth edition of the PSNC seminar will take place on February 7, 2022 at 2:30 PM. The lecture entitled: “Identification of early degenerative changes in brain tissue using high-resolution images of neurons and machine learning: ADMIRE usecase” will be given by Maciej Figiel, PhD from the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

To clearly address the current status and the growing opportunities within farming, DEMETER and SmartAgriHubs, leading Horizon2020 projects promoting the digital transformation of the European agri-food sector, are organising the webinar “The Changing Face of Agriculture’ (February 17th, 10AM CET) discuss the issues of youth, gender and digitalisation in agriculture.

We invite you to the fifth PSNC seminar, which will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 2:30 PM. This time the speaker will be Prof. Dr. Andrzej Krankowski from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, who will present the topic “Ionosphere and space weather”.

On Monday, January 10, 2022, we invite you to the fourth open PSNC Seminar. The speaker will be Anna Bazan-Krzywoszańska, PhD, Professor of the University of Zielona Gora, who will present the topic “Municipal energy and GIS”. The co-authors of the paper are Maria Mrówczyńska, PhD Eng., Prof. of the University and Marta Skiba, PhD Eng. arch. Marta Skiba, Prof. UZ.
