On January 14-17, 2021, Teatr Wielki in Poznan will stage again performances as part of the experimental opera project “ISOLATION: Carmen/Don Giovanni/Don Pasquale” directed by Krzysztof Cichenski in the theater foyer. PSNC will record and broadcast the event on the Internet

The project entitled “Wielkopolanie w wojnie polsko-bolszewickiej 1920 roku” was financed from the budget of the Voivode of the Wielkopolska Region within the competition from the “Niepodlegla” Multiannual Program of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. One of the aims of the project was to create scenarios of ready-made lessons, which will help to preserve the memory and heritage of the defenders of young Polish independence. PSNC is responsible for the technological implementation, digitization, and multimedia of the project.

During the virtual gala, the National Contact Point for EU Research Programmes presented the prizes for the most active Polish participants in the Horizon 2020 Framework Program (2014-2020). The Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences together with the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center were awarded for the fifth time in the history.

Most of the events planned for this year have been moved to virtual space. The same is true for Researchers’ Night. On Friday, November 27th, we invite you to a unique virtual studio to join a meeting with scientists from Poznan. This time online, with the help of webcams, we will visit laboratories to discover the fascinating secrets of the world of knowledge. As in previous years, PSNC is actively involved in organizing this event.

On November 16th, 2020 PSNC television studio hosted the second edition of Transatlantic Orthopaedic Live Surgery Broadcast. Thanks to the medVC platform, the event was attended by nearly 7 000 doctors from 28 countries around the world.

This weekend, on November 8 and 9, 2020, the first edition of this year’s Auditory Festival will take place, which is part of the “Listening Horizon” program of the Biennale Mediations Polska. Thanks to the cooperation with the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, the event will be held entirely online.

On November 4, 2020, at 7.00 p.m., the inaugural concert will be held as part of the “Concert Machine” project. The project was created thanks to the cooperation of the Telematics Workshop of the Academy of Music in Poznan and the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, with the organizational participation of an_ARCHE NewMusicFoundation.

On October 23, 2020, the world premiere of the experimental opera project “ISOLATION: Carmen/Don Giovanni/Don Pasquale” directed by Krzysztof Cicheński will take place in the foyer of Teatr Wielki in Poznan. PSNC is responsible for registering and broadcast of this event on the Internet.

During the 18th International Symposium on News in Audio and Video Technology (NTAV2020), a presentation took place on design work related to VR/360° audiovisual productions and ambisonic sound conducted at PSNC.

The Governor of the Wielkopolska Region Łukasz Mikołajczyk and the Association “People for People” invite the Wielkopolska Region Superintendent of Education, the Vice-Curators, Directors of Delegations and the Director of the Education Development Department to the conference “Security in cyberspace. Parents and children – partners in the digital world ”, organized under the patronage of the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. PSNC will conduct a direct broadcast of the event.

This year’s edition of the ANIMATOR International Animated Film Festival takes place in a hybrid formula. The events are held stationary at the Muza Cinema and at Scena na Pietrze in Poznan , as well as online on an internet platform. PSNC takes care of the on-line part of the Festival, as well as organizes a virtual event – Animator PRO.

On September 24, 2020, the conference entitled: “Joint search for solutions in the field of addiction among young people – innovations” will be held, summarizing the BaltCityPrevent project. “Your one hundred percent choice” application is created in cooperation between the City of Poznań, entrepreneurs, psychologists, teachers, students and PSNC Future Labs.
