The creation of an international forum for the exchange and analysis of the results of research conducted in Poland and around the world is the aim of the 2nd Family Health Conference, planned for 24-25 October, 2021. The event organized by Calisia University, the World Institute of Family Health and the Institute – European Observatory of Health Inequalities will take place in a hybrid version, with the technological support provided by PSNC.

As in the previous year, Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center and PSNC Future Labs actively participated in the organization of the Poznan Auditory Festival. One of the events will take place on Friday, October 22 in a historic tenement house at Zwierzyniecka 20 in Poznan, Poland.

The main objective of the three-year project is to increase the volume, availability and use of public sector information from the scientific resources of the Partners and the RCIN Consortium. The entire process of digitization and making the objects available on the platform is supported by DInGO software package prepared by PSNC.

This three-day event (14-16.10) is organized by the Wielkopolska Branch of the Polish Burn Treatment Society and the Department of General Surgery and Multiorgan Injuries of the Jozef Strus City Hospital in Poznan. PSNC is a technological partner and will provide a live broadcast of the Symposium.

On October 13 and 14, the 5th edition of the Urban Development Forum will be held – an international conference on urban issues. The topic around which the discussion will focus is “Consciousness as a source of new (?) trends”. The event is organized by the City of Poznan, MTP Group, the Association of Polish Cities, the Union of Polish Metropolises and PSNC.

On October 7 2021, the Art & Science lab at PSNC Future Labs will host a spatial music concert in the Z2P Stage series. The theme of the third edition of Z2P Stage will be spatiality in experimental electronic music. This activity will involve the use of a multi-channel sound system in order to spatialize sound compositions.

During the Futuristic Congress – the final of the OFF Opera 2021 project, the installation entitled Future: the Soundtrack, co-created by the art and science laboratory at PSNC Future Labs, will be presented. This sound installation presents the audiosphere of the cities and towns of the future. The co-authors of the installation are students – participants of field-recording and sound-art workshops in Poznan, Puszczykowo and Przybyszewo.

PSNC took the patronage over Game Jam ZS 6 – an event which combines the knowledge acquired at school with its practical use with the support of project management tools and methodology. The event will take place on October 2 and 3 in Jastrzębie Zdroj, and one of the jurors will be Zbigniew Karwasiński from the PSNC School of the Future Laboratory.

On September 29, 2021, a demonstration was held at the airport in Kakolewo as part of the GOF 2.0 research project. Integrated Urban Airspace Validation. The demonstration ‘s aim was to carry out many concurrent missions with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in a simulated urban environment by Polish and foreign teams of operators.

Last weekend (September 24-26), during the largest International Agricultural Exhibition in Poland – AGRO SHOW, PSNC presented activities and initiatives carried out in the agri-food sector. The panel “Ways to strengthen the agricultural innovation ecosystem in Poland” was actively participated by the Deputy Director of PSNC – Krzysztof Kurowski, Ph.D.

This Friday, on September 24, we invite you to the 15th edition of the Researchers’ Night. Just as during last year’s event, a special online studio will host scientists from Poznan universities and research institutes. There will be competitions, games and curiosities for everyone: kids, pupils and families.

The Eye & Tech conference is a platform for presenting the achievements of scientific thought in the field of research on glaucomatous neuropathy, age-related macular degeneration and myopia. Particular emphasis was placed on interdisciplinary cooperation between representatives of the world of ophthalmology and the world of cutting-edge technologies. PSNC was the co-organizer of the second edition of this event.
