On Monday, December 20, 2021, we invite you to the third open PSNC Seminar. The speaker will be Mikolaj Pawlak, MD, PhD, from the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, presenting the topic “Image recognition in clinical neurosciences”.

PSNC Future Labs (Street Zwierzyniecka 20 in Poznan) hosted a workshop around the New Message installation. The event was organised in collaboration with HAT Research Center and Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute.

On Monday, December 6, 2021, we invite you to the second PSNC open seminar. The speaker will be Prof. Iwona Ługowska, PhD, from the Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Institute of Oncology – National Research Institute. The topic of the seminar is “Oncology – MOSAIC – challenges in the use of AI algorithms in biomedical and clinical research”.

The international hackathon PLANET-ON 2021 will take place on 4 and 5 December. This event dedicated to climate issues will be held in a hybrid form. The stationary part will be hosted by PSNC Future Labs (20 Zwierzyniecka St., Poznan). Partners of the hackathon include Poznan University of Technology, Wklaster, HPC4Poland and Lukasiewicz Industrial Institute of Agricultural Engineering.

On November 30 and December 1, 2021, we would like to invite you to the FAZMA: WIDMOTONY Festival, which focuses on the reinterpretation of phenomena, ideas and meanings associated with electronic and electroacoustic music of the 1970s. The event is co-organised by the OKS Association, PSNC Future Labs and the ZAMEK Culture Centre in Poznan as part of the MOJA MUZYKA cycle. The festival is financed from the budget funds of the City of Poznan.

On November 26 and 27, 2021, Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center in cooperation with medVC is supporting two events in the field of medicine taking place simulatanously: “the Practical Dermatology 2021” Conference and the National Neonatology Symposium – “Urgent states in neonatology. Practical Neonatology 2021”.

As part of the EOSC Future project, EOSC DIH has released an Expression of Interest to boost the competitiveness of start-ups, SMEs and other businesses developing solutions in key areas, with the help of EOSC services and expertise. Applications are open until 3 December 2021, 17.00 CET.

This year’s event (24.11.2021) will feature 20 surgeries in 11 European ENT departments. The session is organised by the European Laryngological Society, the Department of Otolaryngology of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences and the Department of Health and Social Care of the Poznan City Hall. This event is supported by PSNC and the medVC platform.

The third edition of the conference for IT professionals – Pozitive Technologies 2021, organised by the City of Poznan, took place on 18 November 2021. The event focused on five thematic tracks, such as cyber security, data processing and archiving. One of the invited speakers was Pawel Berus from the ICT Security Department at PSNC.

Professor Zoltán Horváth’s lecture will start a series of open seminars “Challenges for the IT infrastructure of science in the era of digital transformation” organized by Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center. The inaugural seminar, dedicated to the Hidalgo Competence Centre, will be held on Monday 22 November 2021.

SC Conference is the world’s largest conference, bringing together the international HPC community. This year, for the first time in its history, the event takes place in a hybrid version – the stationary part in Saint Louis, USA, and the “remote” part on an online platform. The latest projects in the field of large-scale computing are presented at the joint virtual booth of PIONIER Consortium and PSNC .

DIGITAL SME together with EUHubs4Data will organize a workshop aimed at SMEs. The event, which will be held online on 17 November 2021, will present opportunities to access and benefit from the experience of the European Digital Innovation Centers (DIHs) in order to develep own services of the participants.
